OYOGist.com has learned that the Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, has reportedly taken a swipe at the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), stating that the party should shock Nigerians with improve welfare and not mass defection.
This was made known by the National Secretary of CUPP, High Chief Peter Ameh, who noted that the All Progressive Congress APC, should keep to their campaign promises of delivering a good a good and balanced welfare to the Nigerian populace.
Chief Ameh noted that the “APC should focus more on politics of service to the people and not politics of defection.”
Chief Ameh stated that the Nigerian electorates should stop electing political masquerades into public offices but rather, the electorates should elect credible and reliable politicians into political positions.
“My humble advice to the APC is that instead of focusing too much on how to retain power in 2023 through defection, it should rather concentrate its strength on delivering to the people infrastructures that will improve their means of livelihood and by doing this very simple logic, it will easily get the people on it’s side without too much struggle and unnecessary political meetings that will not have direct effect on the lives of ordinary people of our country,” Chief Ames stated.
