Soldiers reportedly dehumanize and extort masses in Ibadan

According to information reaching oyogist.com, it has been discovered that men of the military force allegedly dehumanize and extort passers-by in Ibadan, Oyo State.

In a viral video posted on the official twitter handle of instablog9ja, soldiers were seen parading the people who have been arrested by them, and beating them mercilessly because of the way they dress or the hairstyle on them.

Instablog9ja reported that: “These soldiers along Beere, Ibadan, have been dehumanizing innocent citizens for the past few weeks. The traders there are complaining. One of them, O.Adesina shaved the gair of a ma, flogged a lady because of her hairstyle and extorted money from them. This rubbish has to stop.”

Many twitter users had protested against this military action in their comments saying that every kind of brutality must stop in Nigeria, and at the same time call on the government to make justice for the affected peoples.
