It could be recalled that Oyogist.com earlier reported the killing of a protester in EndSars prostest in Ogbomosho, Oyo state. Governor Seyi Makinde has rendered his sympathy to the family of the deseased.
This was made known on the official twitter account of the governor when he posted; “I have received with deep sadness the news of the passing of one of our children, Jimoh Isiaka, who was shot during the ENDSARS protest in Ogbomoso. He later died at Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, earlier today.”
“This situation is highly regrettable. I have contacted the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State, Nwachukwu Enwonwu, and other relevant agencies, and investigations into what led to the unfortunate incident are still ongoing.”
“I pray that God grants the parents of Jimoh Isiaka the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.”
“Again, I express my deepest sympathies to the family of Jimoh Isiaka, may his soul rest in peace.”
In the course of the governor’s post, a twitter user with the username @AgboehikeG has revealed the picture of the police officer who shot the deceased and urged the governor to take a drastic step.
He posted: “This was the man who shot Jumoh isiaq dead,, Do something about this sir @seyiamakinde, not just paying visits,in case you see this RETWEET AGGRESSIVELY,,”
