Yahaya Bello Tells Opposition What To Do After Supreme Court Judgement

Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello has advised opposition party in the state to avoid all types of harshness and go along with him in taking Kogi to the next level. The governor’s comments follows the judgment of the Supreme Court maintaining his political election for a second term in office. He depicted it as a certification of the milestone triumph endowed to him by the individuals of Kogi at the November 16, 2019 election, oyogist.com reports.

In the political election, Governor Bello had 406,222 votes against his nearest rival, the PDP competitor who got 189,704 votes with a triumphant edge of 216,518 votes.

The Supreme Court which held on Tuesday heard interests recorded by the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP), the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against the separate decisions of the Court of Appeal which prior maintained choices of the Kogi State election petition council excusing their different petitions against the governor and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In an announcement by Onogwu Muhammed, Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Bello said the Apex Court’s choice maintaining his triumph is an insistence of the indistinguishable situations on the issues taken by the law specialists at the Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
