Troops Intercept Arms Shipment Headed for Zamfara

According to report reaching OYOGist.com, troops of Operation Hadarin Daji have reportedly intercepted a shipment of arms headed for Zamfara State.

The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj. Gen. John Enenche made this disclosure on Thursday in Abuja while briefing newsmen on military operations across the country.

According to him, 11 locally made rifles and 150 cartridges hidden in different parts of a Toyota Corolla car with Registration Number, Dal 41 MT heading for Kofar Dinya in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara state were intercepted by troops.

The vehicle conveying the arms shipment was boarded by five occupants who were also arrested and are helping with investigations.
