It took 13 minutes and a crowd for a girl to accept her boyfriend’s proposal.
The viral video showed the young man going on one knee as he stretched out a ring, while his friends edged her to say yes, OYOGist.com has gathered.
Another friend, who recorded the video, was more passionate as he kept on screaming, “baby say yes!”
“We have been dating for 4 years, baby,” the guy was heard saying.
As the lady continued to reject the proposal, others who felt emotional about it joined, including two elderly men who went on their knees to beg the lady to accept the young man’s show of love and affection.
One onlooker even told her that she should not lose the guy because she would not find a better guy, while another said she could be arrested 😳
At some point, some onlookers began to tell the guy to leave her and find another girl. Lovestruck, he said, “but I love her!” and he continued to pursue her all over the streets of Lagos, kneeling and prostrating amidst tears in his eyes.
“Don’t let me commit suicide,” were even among the words he muttered as the lady stood her ground and insisted that she wasn’t ready.
Eventually, after a crowd had gathered, the lady stretched out her hand and accepted the ring, with the guy.
