Lagos State workers to continue to work from home – Sanwo Olu

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has instructed all Grade level 1 to 12 workers of the state to continue working from home, OYOGist.com has gathered.

As the coronavirus cases in the state continues to rise, the governor directed the state staff to take advantage of the online learning management system (LMS) available to workers to improve themselves.

He shared this directive on his official Twitter page yesterday, 5th of July, 2020.

“Ahead of the new week, all Grade Level 1 to 12 workers must continue working from home and use our dedicated online Learning Management System (LMS) portals to improve themselves. Personal responsibility is now more important than ever,” the Governor tweeted.

He continued by saying, “We have accredited seven private laboratories to conduct COVID-19 tests to help provide capacity for more people. Testing and treatment in all State-owned health facilities remains free.

He further revealed that the government will continue to vet businesses for safe re-opening, given that there would be strict enforcement of the guidelines in the state.
