Nigerian star Victor Moses breaks personal record, after guiding Inter-Milan to victory over Genoa

Nigerian and Chelsea loan star Victor Moses was superb for Inter Milan on Saturday night, as they defeated Genoa 3-0 away from home, oyogist.com reports.

The away team opened the scoring through former Chelsea and Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku in the 34th minutes, after an assist from Biraghi, to end the first half 1-0 in favour of Antonio Conte’s men.

Former Arsenal and Barcelona superstar Alexis Sanchez doubled the lead in the 83rd minutes, after a beautiful cross from Victor Moses.

Romelu Lukaku scored the last goal of the match in the 90th minutes, after Marcelo Brozovic carves the opponent’s defence with a killer through-ball. The victory have now moved Inter Milan to the second place in the Italian serie A table, with four points behind league leader Juventus.


Chelsea loanee Victor Moses made his first start for the Nerazzurri in seven matches after sustaining injury, and put in an impressive 83 minutes shift before making way for Antonio Candreva.

The former Nigeria international has become a specialist in assisting goals since joining Inter Milan, averaging one every two league games, and he continued his fine form by setting up the goal scored by Manchester United loan star Alexis Sanchez in the 82nd minute.

The former Super Eagles of Nigeria star has now broken his personal assists record (5), after making his total assists this season to six in the league this season, with 5 coming for Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan, while one for Fenerbahce FC of Turkey.

According to reports, Victor Moses has equaled his personal best for assists in a single season (5 for a club), which he first set during the 2011-12 season at Wigan Athletic.
