The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has upheld the suspension of Adams Oshiomole as the All Progressive Congress national chairman on Tuesday, 16th of June, 2020, OYOGist.com is aware.

On March 4, an FCT High Court granted an application by six members of the APC in Edo State to suspend Oshiomole from office.

Oshiomole has sought to challenge his suspension at the Court of Appeal.

The decision to uphold the suspension of Adams Oshiomole as the APC national chairman was reached by a three-person panel of justices led by the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem.

The panel concluded that Oshiomole’s appeal to challenge his suspension lacked merit.

This is coming just days after Adams Oshiomole led APC disqualified the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, from participating in the state’s upcoming gubernatorial elections.

Earlier today, Godwin Obaseki announced his resignation from the APC during a press briefing, where he said that he’ll be announcing his next moves in the coming days.

Things aren’t looking up for him. He should compromise and reach some sort of agreement with his party.
