OYOGist.com has learned that with the transfer window fast approaching, rumours have been swirling around the internet. One team that has been heavily involved in some of the biggest transfer news is Chelsea. The Blues, having signed Hakim Ziyech from Ajax in February, are looking to make more key additions to the squad as Manager Frank Lampard seeks to build a title winning team.

But as players have been linked with transfers to the club, others have been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge. One of those is Atalanta loanee Mario Pasalic.

He has failed to break into the first team since he was signed as a teenager back in 2014, and has endured a number of loan spells, the latest of which has proven to be the most productive. Pasalic has spent the last two seasons on loan at Atalanta, where he has contributed 15 goals and 13 assists in 74 appearances.

Atalanta have thus been reportedly very keen on making the deal permanent, and reports claim they may have now succeeded in their attempts to do so, after a productive meeting between Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi and Chelsea Chief Marina Granovskaia.

Tuttosport claims Atalanta will fork out £15million for the midfielder, which was the fee agreed upon when the 25-year old joined on loan back in 2018.
