OYOGist.com has learned that Jack Dorsey, Twitter CEO, has fired back at President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, after he claimed that the Twitter platform is meddling with the United States election. The election will be taking place later this year. He also tackled Mark Zuckerberg after he suggested that Twitter was trying to be “an arbiter of truth.”
The disagreement happened after the fact-check label to two tweets applied by Twitter was shared to president Trump. This allowed readers to check the president’s claims.
Dorsey claimed that Trump’s tweet were fact-checked because they “may lead people into thinking they don’t need to register to get a ballot.”
Dorsey tweeted thus, “the tweets yesterday may mislead people into thinking they don’t need to register to get a ballot (only registered voters receive ballots). We are updating the link on @realDonaldTrump’s tweet to make this more clear.”
