Video: Chadian President tells troops not to release Captured Boko Haram terrorists to Nigeria

The President of Chad, Idris Derby Itno, in a now-viral video, is seen instilling moral in his troops and praising them for a job well done in decimating the Boko Haram terrorists by killing 90% of them, OYOGist.com has learned.

The Boko Haram terrorists have plagued much of the Northeast of Nigeria and neighboring countries such as Chad and Cameroon. The onslaught of attacks by the Chadian forces, led by the county’s President, Idris Berby Itno have seen 90% of the troops defeated.

His son, a Chadian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and a military General, was also at the battlefield.

In the video, President Derby could be seen saying to his troop that, “this place is our zone until Nigeria sends its troops, stay with them (Nigerian troops) for about a month. Do not let them free captured weapons or any Boko Haram or they will just return to Tchad.”

The country has killed and captured over 1,000 Boko Haram fighters since the campaign against the terrorists started after 92 Chadian army were killed in ambush.

Nigeria has pledged to continue the fight against the Boko Haram terrorists together with the Chadian forces.
