Environmental awareness and climate change activist, Greta Thunberg has been named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year.

Greta was able to influence a global wave of student strikes and sued seven countries for their role in climate change. Greta also gave a speech at the United Nations in New York where she famously said to the world leaders present, “How dare you?” a phrase that has now gone viral.

Time magazine named her 2019 Person of the Year, placing the young activist on the coveted cover of the prestigious magazine. This has made Greta the youngest-ever Person of the Year.
