Governor Seyi Makinde is being praised by residents of the state, especially those around the Lagos-Ibadan toll gate after he lit the area with street lights. The Lagos-Ibadan toll gate is one of the most traveled axes in the country as it links Lagos and Ibadan, aside from being the primary entry point into the city of Ibadan. It is also a channel for North-bound travelers coming from Lagos state.
