A prisoner who escaped from the Federal Correctional Centre in Owerri, Imo state has been burnt to death.
According to sources, the prisoner was set ablaze by some angry youths in the Umuawom village, Ihodimeze community in Ikeduru council area of the state after threating to kill memebers of the families that testified against him in Court.
This daring move prompted villagers to pounce on him and immediately set him ablaze.
