According to report reaching oyogist.com, the United States of America has reportedly purchased a 100 million extra dosage of Pfizer-BioNTech covid-19 vaccine which is to be delivered by July 2021.
This was made known in a statement issued by the Pentagon on Wednesday making the current Covid-19 vaccine supply of the US Government to a total number of 400 million dosage.
The United States is currently in high hopes of immunizing over 20 million people this December with medical health care workers at the fore front line of the exercise.
The statement reads; “Under the terms of the agreement, Pfizer will deliver at least 70 million doses by June 30, 2021, with the balance of the 100 million doses to be delivered no later than July 31, 2021,” the US Defense Department said.
