According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Nigerian Northern Governors Forum (NGF) has praised the successful release of the abducted Kankara school boys, calling it a welcome development for the country.
This was made known by the Northern Governors Forum Chairman, Simon Lalong, who commended the Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, the Katsina state Governor, Aminu Masari, and all other relevant security agencies who contributed to the safe release of the schoolboys.
Gov. Lalong noted that safety precautions should be put in place by the federal government so as to avoid another future occurrence in the country while also adding that the thorough investigation should be carried out by the relevant security agencies to ensure that all perpetrators of the evil act are brought to justice.
He also reiterated that the forum has been working tirelessly with the federal government towards bringing an end to the increased insecurity in the northeast and also the country as a whole.
