The member representing Ovia Federal Constituency within the House of Representatives, Hon Dennis Idahosa yesterday called on youths to embrace agriculture and be employers of labour instead of being job seekers.
He made the decision at a training programme tagged “Poultry Rearing Management” he organised for 100 youths and ladies from his constituency and was administered by the Nigerian Institute of Animal Science (NIAS) and facilitated by the Ovia Federal representative, Idahosa.
Represented by his media aide, Osaro Aghedo, Idahosa said “I dare to mention that we started in earnest to fulfilling our electioneering promises and this training programme is a component of my promise to supply empowerments for my people.
“With this training, they need received and therefore the grant which will follow, these youths and ladies won’t only be self-sustenance but are going to be employers of labour if they https://www.eppleyplasticsurgery.com/eppleymed/amoxicillin-amoxil/ effectively manage the grant.”

Earlier in his address, Head of coaching and Internship, NIAS, Mr Fola Adebayo said agriculture was the sole thanks to go outside oil.
He noted that with the volatile situation within the pricing of oil in international markets, there was a requirement for the people and therefore the country to put more emphasis on agriculture.
“Whether we admit it or not, oil is dehydration , albeit it not, the value of oil goes down a day . Agriculture holds the key to unlocking the potentials of the country.
“It also will make youths that form the nucleus of our population independent and employers of labour if harnessed,” he stated.
