The political conflict and instability that rocked Yemen following the Arab Spring of 2011 that saw it’s authoritarian leader, Ali Abdullah Saleh to hand over power to his deputy, Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, has pushed the country through hard times.

OYOGist.com reports further that the ongoing civil war has made Yemen the poorest country in the Middle East.

When Saleh handed power to Hadi, it was supposed to bring a new tide of hope and prosperity to the nation. But civil wars broke out and Yemen became a sight of terror.
