OYOGist.com has learned that a 24-year-old youth corps member, Bianca Ada Chidi, who was declared missing by her Lagos-based mother cum businesswoman, Mrs. Bola Chidi, has been found. Bianca, who disappeared in a mysterious circumstance six weeks ago, was found by operatives of the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) from Lagos State in Osun State.

According to her over-joyous mother, Mrs. Chidi, “after searching for my daughter, Bianca for six weeks, and going everywhere to look for her, I then decided to contact the IGP/IRT department of the Nigeria police for help.

“At first, I felt they were slow in helping me look for her, but now I am convinced that the IGP/IRT department of the Nigerian police are really working. I have received a call from the IGP/IRT police that my daughter has been found in Osun State.” Mrs. Chidi, who is still finding it difficult to believe her luck, expressed delight at “beautiful job” done by the IGP/IRT department of the Nigeria Police.

She said: “They said they will help me look for my daughter and they did. Thank you IGP/IRT department of the Nigeria police. They are wonderful and hardworking. I can now concentrate on my daily life again. I went through hell looking for my girl.”

Bianca, who had gone for her National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) mobilization in Ile Ife, Osun State, was on her way home from Ife on March 16, and kept updating her mother of her movement up till she got to Iyana Ipaja in Lagos, which is not far from Abule-Egba where the family lives. She thereafter disappeared with her mobile phone also switched off.

Since then, the family has been in agony and visited several police stations to make reports before contacting the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IGP-IRT) department of the Nigeria Police Force to help investigate the matter.
