A Rivers State resident has taken to social media to cry out for justice after armed men, suspected to be operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), allegedly stormed her home in Port Harcourt and forcefully arrested her husband.
In a distressing account, the woman detailed a night of chaos, property damage, and what she describes as an unwarranted abduction.
According to the distraught wife, the operatives gained entry into the residence through sheer force rather than legal protocol. She alleged that the team left a trail of destruction in their wake before taking her husband into custody.
“They broke into our home and took my husband away. They didn’t find anything incriminating in our house, but they insisted on taking him. They broke our gate, damaged our doors, and destroyed our CCTV cameras“ she said.
