Shehu Sani, a former Nigerian senator and activist has said the ongoing speculation that Tinubu allegedly forged his Chicago State University certificate was settled a long time ago, Oyogist reports.
The former senator representing Kaduna central made this known in his recent Twitter post.
According to Mr Sani,
“The Chicago issue was raised and settled nearly two decades ago.The point is that the controversy happened before the social media era.”We now live in a new age.
The inquisitive new generation,attitudinally,doubts & discredit historical events in the pre information technology era.
Recall over the past few months, reports that the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, did not submit his primary and secondary school certificates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have continued to generate reactions.
Tinubu had previously claimed that his school certificates were stolen by unknown persons during the military regime.
