One of Nigeria’s leading playwrights and theatre directors, Olawale Gladstone Emmanuel Rotimi popularly known as Ola Rotimi, is being celebrated by Google on his 84th posthumous birthday.
The playwright, director and scholar was born in Sapele, Nigeria, in 1938 and passed away in 2000.
However, earlier today, the search engine platform displayed a drawing of the playwright on their official logo to celebrate his outstanding legacies, Oyogist reports.
