Russian invasion fears grow as foreigners vacate Ukraine

Oyogist has learned that UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has disclosed that the government is “very clear there could be an imminent invasion of Ukraine” and calls on British citizens to “leave now.

Few days ago, PM Boris Johnson said there were “signs that show that there are serious preparations” being made by Russia.

Although Russia denies plans to invade Ukraine, the country reportedly deployed over 100,000 soldiers on Ukraine’s borders and a reported 30,000 close to the Belarus-Ukraine border.

Meanwhile, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv where he warned Western nations could impose “very far-reaching sanctions” on Russia.
