Oyogist has learned that President Muhammadu Buhari has instructed the Nigerian senate to approve N895 Billion as Supplementary Budget.
Senate President Ahmad Lawan read out the president request letter before the plenary floor.
A Major part of the budget would be used for the acquisition of military hardware and equipment in order to help tackle the rising cases of insurgency in the country.
Part of the funds would also be used for the purchase of COVID-19 vaccines and substantial health facilities.
