Oyogist has learned that president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari would commission into commercial use the Lagos/Ibadan rail line project.
The rail project which started in 2017, currently supervised by the Minister of Transportation, covers a length of one hundred and fifty-six kilometers across 11 mega stations from Apapa Lagos to Ibadan.
The rail project would bring to an end the incessant traffic menace in Apapa region.
Recall the Ministry of Transportation had initiated a bill to the National Assembly for the establishment of National transportation policy, to enshrine a road map and for the best transportation practice.
