OYSIEC postpones Ido local government Election scheduled for today

According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Oyo state Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) has postponed the Ido local government area election scheduled for today.

The election will now hold on the 29th of May, 2021.

The chairman of the commission, Aare Isiaka Olagunju made this known on Sunday in Ibadan, the state capital.

Meanwhile, the commission also declared the candidate of the People Democratic Party, PDP as the winner of the Chairmanship election in Itesiwaju local government.

PDP Candidate, Akintola Ojo Bolaji who scored 15, 875 votes was declared winner at the ongoing collation of results at OYSIEC headquarters in Ibadan.

APC has 173 votes while ADP has 40 votes
