Oyogist.com has learned that a starving lion that Gained popularity earlier in November 2020, has reportedly died after suffering severe health complications.
According to reports, the lion, hyena, squirrel and crocodiles were moved from the zoo to an Unknown location.
An eyewitness who visited the zoo to inquire if the lion has fully recovered, disclosed that a zoo staff told him the lion died two weeks after going viral.‘
“Yes, I can confirm that the lion has passed on barely two weeks when its footage went viral.
“Some veterinary doctors came to take the lion for treatment later, they came with the shocking news that the lion has died as a result of some complications,” the staff said.
Nigerians so far has reacted to the unfortunate incident, as they called on international authorities to fully Investigate the incident.
