BREAKING: President Buhari Reacts to Abuja Plane Crash

President Buhari has reacted to the unfortunate military plane crash that occurred on Sunday in Abuja, killing all 7 passengers aboard the flight, OYOGist.com reports.

The military aircraft identified as KingAir B350i was headed to Mainna from Abuja with some military personnel aboard when the pilot announced an engine problem, the Ministry of Defense said. It crashed on its way back to Abuja.

The President expressed his sadness in the event and extended his condolences on behalf of the Federal Government to the family members of those involved in the accident.

“Deeply saddened by the fatal crash of the Nigeria Air Force KingAir B350i aircraft today in Abuja, that claimed the lives of seven personnel.” the President tweeted.

“On behalf of the Federal Government, I extend heartfelt condolences to extended members, friends and colleagues of those who died.

“I join the Nigerian Air Force, the military and all Nigerians in mourning the unfortunate loss of our dedicated and courageous personnel, who died in the line of duty.

“I pray that God will comfort the bereaved families and the nation, and grant the souls of the departed peaceful rest.”
