According to reports reaching Oyogist.com, popular Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp has announced the passing away of his mother to COVID-19.
“She meant everything to me, a mother in the real sense of the world,” Klopp wrote.
“As a devout Christian,” Klopp said, “I know she is in a better place now.”
Klopp’s mom, Elisabeth Klopp was 81 years old when she passed away on January 19 in Germany from Covid-19 complications.
Liverpool FC has shown their support for the coach as they tweeted “You’ll never walk alone,” referring to the popular soccer tune that Liverpool FC takes the field to.
