Mr Dare Adeleke, Chairman, Oyo Pacesetters Transport Company, has alleged that Ayo Fayose’s latest alignment with Bola Tinubu is to deliver the South-West to Asiwaju in 2023 in exchange for reprieve from his multiple cases of fraud within the EFCC.
Adeleke described the previous governor of Ekiti State as treacherous and mischievous in sight of his disposition within the wake of the leadership crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party within the South-West.
Recalled that Fayose had, during a recent statement, mentioned Makinde as a political child. a gaggle loyal to Fayose had also recently attacked Makinde of positioning himself because the party leader within the South-West, alleging that he was an agent of the All Progressive Congress adding that the Oyo State governor was behind the preponderance of lawsuits against the party in Ekiti and Osun states.
Adeleke’s statement signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan on Tuesday.
The statement read in part:
“Ayo Fayose’s fall from grace in his first outing as governor is traceable to his behaviours. Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo called him ‘the Prodigal of the South-West.’ Unfortunately, Ayo Fayose is unrepentant and has become even more brazen in his recklessness because he suddenly has found himself because the utility room for a few ‘big men’ who he has sold his conscience to once more .
“What happens during a utility room is that each junk is dumped there. Fayose has become subjugated and captured by some filthy lucre. Who doesn’t know Ayo Fayose? He may have met his match in his new ally, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Fayose’s prodigious rigmarole could also be finally checked but i might still advise the Asiwaju to observe his back. Fayose can’t be trusted.
“Fayose cannot look within the mirror and see. How can we forget his seeming devilry at storming the EFCC sort of a cowboy only to show into a whimpering rat when it had been obvious he was getting to jail? He began to sing in new tones and even praised Buhari who he, hitherto, rained curses on without a care?
“The whole world knows that Fayose’s latest alignment with Bola Tinubu is to deliver the South-West to Asiwaju in 2023 in exchange for reprieve from his multiple cases of fraud within the EFCC. Governor Seyi Makinde didn’t mention anybody’s name in his statement where he stressed the necessity to unite the party within the zone but it might seem, the guilty are afraid.
“The truth is that Governor Seyi Makinde is that the recognised leader of the South-West PDP and there’s nothing Fayose can do about it.”
