‌Breaking: Zamfara Govt Shuts Down 10 Boarding Schools Over Insecurity

According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Zamfara state government have reportedly shut down 10 boarding schools in the state over increased rate of insecurity in the country.

This was made known by the Zamfara state Commissioner of Education, Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi, while talking to pressmen on Tuesday. He said the government can’t risk opening up its boarding schools following the shut down except the insecurity reduces.

“We will not want what happened in Katsina to happen in Zamfara State.

‌“All the Principals of the affected schools have been directed to ensure immediate closure of the affected schools.”

The Commissioner noted that the safety and security of the students is the main priority of the state government thereby urging parents and guardians to exercise patience with the government.
