OYOGist.com has learned that Nigerian students who are studying in the United Kingdom UK under the NDDC scholarship program, reportedly staged a protest at the Nigerian High Commission over non payment of their tuition fees by the NDDC.

It should be recalled that the NDDC had in September sent a delegate to verify the academic activities of the Nigerian students who are benefits of the Scholarship but after the verification exercise and the NDDC saying it had confirmed the academic status of the students, the commission was yet to commence the payment.

The Nigerian scholars therefore urged the Federal Government to help mandate the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) carry out their payments with immediate effect as they are reportedly said to be at the risk of loosing their certificates.
