Shock As Police DPO Threatens To Shoot #ENDSARS Peaceful Protesters In Owerri (Video)

Following the public outcry for the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) by the Nigerian populace, there was a massive peaceful protest throughout the country as young Nigerians trooped to the street to express their displeasure to the authorities, oyogist.com reports.

While the Lagos, Edo and Abuja protests were said to be peaceful, the men of the Nigerian Police were reported to have turned the Owerri protest to violence as the NPF threatened to shoot the peaceful protesters.

Moments later, a viral video was circulated on the internet showing a Nigerian Police DPO of the Orji Police station, Obinna Obi punching a peaceful protester in the face.

In reaction to the DPO’s action the youths challenged him for throwing punches at a peaceful protester and the DPO reportedly brought out a gun threatening to shoot the protesters.

The video which have gone viral has received a lot of backlash from many Nigerians both home and in diaspora.
