Interfering Of Attorney General Always Affects Our Investigation- Magu

OYOGist.com has learned that Mr. Ibrahim Magu the suspended Acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC” has reportedly said that the Attorney-General And Minister Of Justice, Abubakar Malami, Always Interfered With their Investigations.

According to Information reported by the former Acting Chairman of EFCC that Attorney-General Malami every time interfering with the agency’s investigations and working against Agency statutory powers.

He disclosed further that the complaints against him were fabricated to tarnishing his image and the credibility of the Agency, EFCC.

How ever Mr Magu explained that many cases under recovery, investigation and management of assets, the office of the Attorney General will either less cooperative or interfered with the process. He said, Malami Office subjected to numerous blackmail and attacks aiming to whittling down the powers of the commission, also laid down approach of the office of the Minister Of Justice, has not been helpful like in cases of extradition.

Mean while the Ibrahim Magu was just released after 10 days in detention following his arrest by a combined team of Department of State Services and Policemen to answer some questions from the investigative panel, which he said just after his release that the entire saga was plot by his traducers to rubbish him for exposing corruption.
