BREAKING: Mohammed Umar takes over as EFCC acting chairman

The Director of Operations of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mohammed Umar has reportedly taken over as the acting chairman of the anti-graft agency as Ibrahim Magu is investigated, OYOGist.com has gathered.

The suspended EFCC chairman was called for interrogation over allegations of mismanagement of recovered loots and appropriation of properties to himself by the presidency on Monday.

He has since remained at Abuja where he is being interrogated, as Mohammed Umar takes over as the acting chair of the agency.
