OYOGist.com has learned that seven cows allegedly belonging to a Fulani herder were mysteriously striken to death by lightning today at Elepo village, Ifon Osun in Orolu Local Government area of Osun state.
The cows belongs to a fulani herder who resides at Elepo had just returned from grazing in one of the communities before the lightning stroke.
Residents claim this is mysterious as it has never happened in the area before.
But with the persistent crisis between farmers and herders, one begins to wonder if the mysterious lightning was not due to some black magic to send the herders a message.
It should be recalled that many Southerners have been piqued at the recent migration of herders to the region and have insisted they leave.
