BREAKING: President Buhari Dissolves APC’s NWC, Appoints Yobe Gov as Caretaker Chairman

President Muhammadu Buhari has dissolved the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress.

This was announced during the ongoing National Executive Committee meeting of the party at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. 

President Buhari had on Wednesday backed Victor Giadom as Acting National Chairman of the party.

Meanwhile, Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni, has been appointed as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Caretaker Committee and extraordinary National Convention.

This was also announced on Thursday during a meeting where President Muhammadu Buhari dissolved the National Working Committee of the party.

According to a presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, on Twitter, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, governors, National Assembly leaders and top members of the party all attended the meeting.
