Speaker, Gombe State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Abubakar, his deputy, Siddi Buba and four other lawmakers have recovered from COVID-19.

The six lawmakers had earlier tested positive for COVID-19, and had been in compulsory 14-day self-isolation for treatment, but received clean bill of health during the weekend.

The Speaker denied the allegation that they were isolated at Gombe International Hotel, saying, “You got the information wrong that we were isolated in the international hotel or any other hotel. We all decided to have self/home isolation.
