“I’m glad to hear Obaseki joined PDP” – Femi Fani-Kayode

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has expressed his happiness over the decision of Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki to join the opposition party, People’s Democratic Party, PDP, OYOGist.com reports.

“Glad to hear that Obaseki has joined @officialPDPNig with (assuming it is true) all the LGA Chairmen & House of Assembly members in Edo state,” the former Minister tweeted on Saturday.

“He lost round 1 to Oshiomole and I hope that he has better luck in round 2. This is especially so now that we are on the same side!” Fani-Kayode rounded up his tweet

Governor Godwin Obaseki is yet to confirm if he has made a switch to PDP since his disqualification from the ruling APC party has been affirmed by the APC NWC.

However, there are hints that this is the Governor’s next logical move to clinch his Governorship seat for another 4-year run.
