Adam’s statement reads: “A statement from the office of the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, today, said, the dissolution of the Governing Council of the two Universities takes immediate effect.”

The act probably is to help involve other new hands who will further help to take the university higher than it is now. However, the Honourable Minister has thanked members of the governing council for their service to the Institutions and has equally wished them success in their future endeavours.

These universities will now have to probably wait for the directive from the federal government on those who will be part of the new governing body which is not in view for now.
