The employers (or as the case may be former employers) of a racist white woman that was filmed calling cops on an African American man in NYC Central Park of Ramble has decided to fire her, OYOGist.com has learnt.

The company, Franklin Templeton, initially released a statement announcing its decision to place Amy Cooper on administrative leave following the incident that played out in the viral video.

To catch up on what went down, On Monday, the 25th of May, Amy Cooper was with her dog, without a leash on it, in Ramble Central Park, where the rule says all dogs must be put on a leash. Christopher Cooper, a birdie (bird watcher) in the park told Amy, politely, to put a leash on the dog, and even offered the pet a treat.

However, Amy, feeling high on her white skin, threatened to call the cops on Christopher, and tell them “an African American male is threatening her and her dog”, which she did.

The video soon went viral, and Amy Cooper’s entire life has been on a spiral crumble since then.

On Tuesday, the company announced, in a tweet, that it has terminated Amy Cooper’s employment following an internal review of the matter.

“Following our internal review of the incident in Central Park yesterday, we have made the decision to terminate the employee involved, effective immediately. We do not tolerate racism of any kind at Franklin Templeton.”

The tweet has amazed over 100k likes in less than 2 hours as media outlets all over the world covers the story.
