The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 193 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria as of 14th of May, 2020, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 5162.
The new record shows that Lagos state had the highest number of cases with 58 cases, while the rest were recorded in 14 other states including 46-Kano 35-Jigawa 12-Yobe 9-FCT 7-Ogun 5-Plateau 5-Gombe 4-Imo 3-Edo 3-Kwara 3-Borno 1-Bauchi 1-Nasarawa and 1 in Ondo
According to the NCDC record, as at the 14th of May, there are now 1180 discharged confirmed COVID-19 cases and 167 COVID-19 related deaths in Nigeria.
The NCDC also reported that two earlier cases recorded in Kaduna were a repeat of earlier cases.
Two cases reported yesterday from Kaduna, were repeat tests. Therefore, Kaduna has a total of 114 confirmed cases
