Ogun to call off lockdown on Monday, May 11th and not May 4th

OYOGist.com has learned that the relaxation/easing of the lockdown by the Federal Government announced on monday(27th April,2020) is going to be delayed by one week in Ogun State due to one week delay in commencement of the initial Federal Government lockdown in the State.

This was disclosed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Affairs; Hon. Remi Hassan during a program titled Rush hour on star FM.

The SA made this known to the citizen of the the state that relaxation/easing of the lockdown by the Federal Government will commence on Monday (11th May, 2020) instead of Monday (4th May,2020), which Lagos and FCT will start their own relaxation.

The SA before the end of the program implore the people of Ogun state to adhere to government directive in curbing the spread of the pandemic that’s battling with the world.

He added that the use of face mask has been mandatory for all citizen of the state, that the Federal Government has ordered the prosecution of deviants in that regards.
