The President’s Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari, who passed away on Friday, the 17th of April after testing positive for COVID-19 disease on the 24th of March was laid to rest today, Saturday 18th of April, 2020, OYOGist.com reports.
The Chief of Staff was laid to rest at the nation’s Capital Territory, the FCT Abuja with several in attendance. His burial was carried out within 24 hours of the time his death was announced according to Islamic rites.
Abba Kyari was laid to rest at private cemetery at Qudu in Abuja on Saturday.
