After Portuguese playmaker Bruno Fernandes and Nigerian Striker Odion Ighalo were signed by EPL club Manchester United in the January transfer window, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are yet to lose a single game. The immediate impact that the duo brought to the United team was very clear for everyone to see.

Bruno Fernandes, for instance, has contributed to more than 60% of United’s goals since he joined the club while Odion Ighalo, who though not a regular starter, scored four goals in his three starts for Manchester United: one against Club Brugge at the Europa League, two against Derby County at the FA Cup, and one against LASK Linz at the Europa League.

Bruno Fernandes, who had won several Man of the Match awards, was awarded Machester United Player of the Month of February as well as EPL Player of the Month of February.

And weeks later, his fellow January Transfer signing Odion Ighalo would win his own award.

On Saturday, March 28, 2020, Manchester United striker Ighalo won Manchester United’s Goal-of-the-month for the month of March with his wonder goal against LASK Linz in the Europa league.

Scott McTominay’s late strike against Manchester City and Bruno Fernandez’s goal against Everton were also contenders for the award, but Ighalo’s goal received the highest votes.
