118-yr-old woman appointed as a special adviser in Bayelsa

The Vice-Chairman of Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA in Bayelsa State, Hon. Brian Wotari, has appointed a 118-yr-old woman as his Special Adviser on Elders Matters.

The aged woman, Omonigbalebo Dani Orogono, was appointed to the position by Brian Wotari, the Vice-Chairman of the local government on the 4th of February 2020 in a letter that was signed by Bedford Ineye, one of the aides of Brian Wotari.

The woman will be the oldest living Special Adviser to any government official in the state, and possibly in the country.

Her appointment has generated reactions online with some saying no time is too late for one to witness their success.
