Igor Komarov, identified in online reports as the son of a major mafia figure from Dnipro known by the nickname “Narik,” has reportedly been kidnapped in Bali, Indonesia.

According to information circulating on social media, the alleged kidnappers sent a video message claiming that neither mafia connections nor law enforcement would be able to secure his release. In the footage, they reportedly demand $10 million, which they claim was previously stolen from them.

The victim had reportedly traveled to Bali to relax and distance himself from the ongoing war in Ukraine. In the video that has surfaced online, the man appears under distress and claims he has been severely assaulted. He alleges that his fingers were cut off, his legs were broken, and that his captors have threatened further mutilation if their demands are not met.

The authenticity of the video and the full circumstances surrounding the alleged kidnapping have not yet been independently verified. Indonesian authorities have not issued an official statement confirming the incident, the identity of the victim, or the ransom demand.

The case has sparked intense online discussion due to the alleged background of the victim and the scale of the ransom demand. Observers say the situation, if confirmed, highlights the potential risks associated with transnational criminal disputes extending beyond national borders.
