Oyogist has learned that Real Madrid football club paid an emotional tribute to late President Lorenzo Sanz who led the club from 1995 to 2000 and won 7 titles including the seventh and eighth European Cups.
Real Madrid had earlier announced in a post that it would pay a tribute to their president Lorenzo Sanz when football returns to the Santiago Bernabéu tomorrow”.
“Prior to the clash with Celta, Real Madrid will remember the man who presided over our club from 1995 to 2000 but passed away on the 21st of March 2020, the statement read further.
In a photo obtained by Oyogist, the club players could be seen holding a flag of the late President, as many chanted songs.
