Some Northern Governors have paid a solidarity visit to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde over the lingering crisis at Sasha area of Ibadan, OYOGist.com reports.
The Northern Governors who paid Governor Seyi Makinde a visit were Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; the Governor of Zamfara State (Matawallen Maradun); the Governor Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State.
The Governors made the visit on Monday, the 15th of February, and would be touring Sasha area for an on-the-spot assessment of the situation in the vicinity following the herders-farmers clash in the community.
Upon their visit to the State House at Agodi GRA, Ibadan, they held a closed door meeting with the Oyo State Governor.
OYOGist.com recalls that a brutal clash between the Fulani herders and the host community in the Sasha Ojoo area have resulted in the death of many and the destruction of properties.
